Edward L. Doheny, Jr. ("Ned") Son of a Roman Catholic Countess and an Oil Magnate Suicide after murdering his gay lover/secretary Forest Lawn, Glendale, California The marble canopy was supposedly donated by the Pope as a sympathy gift to the parents. A cross made of red and white flowers has been replaced twice a week since his burial in the 1920's. |
